Stage
History: Dr C.G. English School is a Co-Ed School affiliated to Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, providing quality education to the children of our community for the past 63 years. Dr. C.G. School made a humble beginning as a branch of M.G. School in Sardar Nagar in some tenements.
Playground
Most likely every student’s favourite place in the entire
school; the playground is a large open area on the school campus. This is where students are involved in activities
related to sports. They have a wide range of
options - football, badminton, cricket, carrom,
chess and many more. Every Wednesday, a Mass Drill is facilitated by the sports faculty here, an initiative to help students maintain their physical fitness.
Dome
The dome is a huge play-area for children from the pre-primary section of the school. A vibrant space with a variety of activities for kids that enables the enhancement of their motor skills, control and coordination.
Readery
This is a space for students to explore the world of reading.
Has a collection of books of all genres - fiction, non-fiction, encyclopedias, fables and many others. Aimed at inculcating the habit of reading in kids, which leads to improvement of their vocabulary, language skills and increases the awareness
of the world around them.
Atal Tinkering Lab
A government funded laboratory established as a flagship initiative of the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM). Objective of this lab is to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds, and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, etc. Our school has many ongoing projects in this lab. There is dedicated ATL faculty to mentor the students as they develop these innovative projects.
Computer Lab
This is a space for students to acquire digital skills. Students become familiar with softwares and applications they can make use of to make their lives easier. Here students are often found working on projects that involve coding and doing research for assignments and projects they want to work on.
